Florence: City Hotels and Accommodation
For the best choice of hotels, head to Florence city centre, which is situated a mere 4 km / 3 miles to the south-east of Amerigo Vespucci Airport (FLR). Accommodation in this part of the city is extremely well-placed for exploring much of the city and its main attractions, although rooms in central Florence do tend to be overpriced.
